On May 18, 2017, the Head Start organization will have been in service 52 years. To celebrate this event, the Lusk Early Childhood Center invited Mayor Pat Smith to read to the class. Mayor Smith chose her favorite children’s book “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish” by Dr. Seuss. After listening to the story, the children were allowed to pick out a book for their own, which were donated to the school by Scholastic Inc.
