Homecoming 2018 featured the NCHS Tigers facing off against the Southeast Cyclones. The week of homecoming was a week dedicated to school spirit and various dress-up days gave the chance for the entire school to get involved. Monday’s dress up day was dedicated to ‘Merica’, Tuesday brought ‘Decade Day’, Wednesday was a chance for classes to come together in ‘Class Unity Day’, Thursday was relaxed ‘Pajama Day’, and Friday brought out all the Tiger pride with ‘Red and White’ day. High school students were also kept busy during the week with poster decorating, FFA Game Night, Activity Night which featured volleyball, and a parade followed by the pep rally on Friday. And then came the moment of truth wherein our Lady Tiger and our Tigers faced off against the Cyclones. The Lady Tigers tried hard but fell in three to the Cyclones while the Tigers captured a homecoming win to the cheers of fans. During halftime Homecoming Royalty was announced Followed by the lighting of ‘N’. Homecoming came to a close with the dance on Saturday, September 22 held at the Niobrara Country Club.
