How have the people and opportunities at NCHS helped you grow and achieve success?

The people have always been supportive through everything I have been a part of. All the extra activities have given me opportunities to improve my public speaking, leadership, and I have gained a lot of friends too.

What responsibilities and activities outside of school have added to your success as a person and student?

4-H has helped me grow in leadership and responsibility. It has also helped me improve my public speaking skills.

In what ways have you contributed your talents to NCHS?

I have been a member of the NCHS Basketball team for all 4 years of High School and have been a part of FFA for 3 years. I have also participated in Volleyball, Band, and Rodeo has been a big part of my life too.

What are your future goals-personal, educational and professional?

Have an Associate’s Degree in Equine Management or Ag Business. Come back and work on my family ranch.

How do you plan to contribute to your community in the future?

Come back and volunteer in any way I can!

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? 20?

In 10 years hopefully, I will have my dream job of working as a ranch hand. In 20 years, I want to own my own ranch and have my own family and horses and cows.

What are some of your interests and hobbies outside of school?

Roping and Ranching!

Who are your parents and siblings?

Mark and Heidi Sturman, Jessie Reed, and Bryce Sturman.

Favorite Lusk school memory…so far?

Any of the school activity trips.

If I could change anything in Lusk, what would it be?

Nothing.
