LUSK – Superpowers of faith, hope and love were the main theme at this year’s Bible Adventure Days vacation bible school. The community activity was open to all kids entering kindergarten through entering sixth grade. An army of volunteers from Prairie Hills Community church worked to pull off the three-evening event and then held a picnic dinner at Northside Park for parents and friends so the kids could present what they had learned throughout the week.
Attendees played games, ate snacks and learned about their own unique superpowers. The memory verse was 1 Corinthians 13:13. They also learned several songs and had fun decorating superhero masks and making superhero necklaces. 67 children from Lusk and the surrounding area attended the four day event which was held at the Niobrara county fairgrounds.
