LUSK- According to Teri Stephens, Niobrara County Assessor, the deadline for reporting personal property for taxation is rapidly approaching.
Wyoming Statute requires that all merchants, manufacturing, construction, farm, ranch and professional equipment be reported to the County Assessor by March 1st of each year.
Ms. Stephens indicated that if a business fails to report or respond, an estimate of value will be placed on the property based on best available information.
If you are a new business or have not received your form, please contact the Assessor’s office by calling 334-3201, or stop in the office at the Niobrara County Courthouse, 424 South Elm.
