Local Notice as Part of the Environmental Notification Process for the Federal Communications Commission (FCC’s) Antenna Structure Registration
The Wyoming Department of Transportation is proposing to construct a 150-foot self-supporting lattice telecommunications structure (155-foot overall height with appurtenances). The tower would be 16.5 miles south of Lusk, Wyoming in Goshen County. The project would be constructed on State Lands approximately 0.13 mile west of Highway 85 at 42°32'13.80"N, 104°22'11.49"W.
Interested persons may review the application for this project by going to www.fcc.gov/asr/applications and entering the Antenna Structure Registration (ASR) Form 854 File Number “A1174799”. Interested persons may raise environmental concerns about the proposed structure by filing a Request for Environmental Review with the FCC within 30 days of this posting. Instructions for filing such requests can be found at www.fcc.gov/asr/environmentalrequest. The FCC strongly encourages interested parties to file Requests for Environmental Review online.
