LUSK – SPC Teagan Tschacher of Lusk was presented with a gift of appreciation for his service on Friday, January 7. SPC Tschacher is currently enlisted in the army and serving as a helicopter mechanic. He works on and flies service helicopters. Tschacher is a Niobrara county native and the son of Lee Tschacher.
Tschacher is stationed at Fort Campbell in Kentucky. He enlisted in 2019 and attended basic training at Fort Jackson, SC. Specialized training was completed at Fort Eustis, VA. He has traveled to Germany, Spain and Afghanistan as part of his service.
The Niobrara county quilting group stated, “It is an honor to present this quilt to SPC Tschacher for stepping up to protect our country.” The quilt was sewn locally by volunteers and with donated supplies. It was quilted by Lickity Stitch Quilt shop.
