CHEYENNE –Coming out of December with a 3-5 record, the Tiger boys work in progress continues to evolve. Three bigger schools on the docket at the massive Taco Johns Invitational last weekend, would see three quality opponents for NCHS.
Thursday morning at Cheyenne South’s JV, Lusk had a chance to avenge a loss at Tiger Gym last month. The Bison took an early advantage and went to halftime up 19-16. NCHS battled back before taking a lead late in the game. Senior Teagan Tschacher made key free throws down the stretch as the Tigers won 39-36.
