ORDINANCE NO. 7-15-100
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING EXISTING ORDINANCE 7-15-100, WHICH ESTABLISHES MAXIMUM SPEED LIMITS WITHIN THE TOWN OF LUSK.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE TOWN OF LUSK, WYOMING:
SECTION ONE: The Ordinance 7-15-100 of the “Municipal Code of Lusk,” 2004 is amended as follows:
7-5-100. Maximum Speed Limits.
speed greater than is reasonable and prudent under the conditions and
having regard to the actual and potential hazards then existing. Every
driver shall drive at a safe and appropriate speed when special hazards
exist with respect to pedestrians or other traffic or by reason of weather
or street conditions.

subsection or established as otherwise authorized shall be maximum
lawful speeds and no person shall drive a vehicle on a street at a speed in
excess of the maximum limits:
25 miles per hour on all streets in the Town of Lusk unless otherwise
posted.
limits for particular streets or areas, which limits may be greater or lesser
than the speeds established herein above. Any different speed limits shall
be posted by signs indicating the determined limit. Any such
determination and posting may be made without amendment to this
Ordinance.
The Third and Final reading of this Ordinance will be at the July 2, 2024, council meeting.
