Notice is hereby given that a General Election will be held in Niobrara
County on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, between the hours of 7:00 a.m.
and 7:00 p.m. for the following purposes:

GENERAL ELECTION
CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT A:
The adoption of this amendment would separate residential real property
into its own class of property for purposes of property tax assessments.
The amendment would authorize the legislature to create a subclass of
owner occupied primary residences.

Voter Registration closes for General Election October 21, 2024
Registration is allowed at the polls on Election Day.
(You may register to vote at the Courthouse during the 14-day period
prior to the election, provided you cast your absentee ballot immediately
after registering to vote.)
ABSENTEE VOTING
General Election - UOCAVA Voters-September 20 – November 4, 2024
General Election - October 8 – November 4, 2024
Any qualified elector may vote by absentee ballot. A qualified elector
may apply for an absentee ballot at any time by applying in person, in
writing, or by phone, provided they are registered to vote. If the ballot is
not to be picked up by the elector, the address to which the absentee ballot
is to be mailed, or the name of the individual the elector designates in writing
to deliver the ballot to the elector is required. Absentee ballots are not
available on Election Day.
DO NOT RETURN ABSENTEE BALLOTS TO THE POLLING
PLACES. RETURN TO THE COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE.
A photo ID is required to pick up a ballot in person. Ballots must be
returned to the county clerk’s office by 7:00 p.m. on November 5, 2024, to
be counted for the General Election.

CAMPAIGN REPORTING REQUIREMENTS
October 29, 2024 - Statement of Campaign Contributions and Expenditures

November 15, 2024 - Amended Statement of Campaign Contributions
and Expenditures Due
Each Candidate, Candidate’s Committee, and PACS, except precinct
committee people, whether successful or not, shall file a fully itemized
Statement of Contributions and Expenditures Report at least seven (7) days
before the election. A person found guilty of violating Wyoming campaign
finance statutes is subject to criminal charges. Failure to file a required report
could result in a two hundred dollar ($200.00) civil penalty. WS 22-
25-108.
VOTER ASSISTANCE
If a voter requires assistance to vote at the polls by reason of blindness,
disability, or inability to read or write, he may be given assistance by a
person of his choice. If there are any additional questions regarding the accessibility
of a polling place or use of ADA equipment to mark your ballot,
please contact the County The secretary of state and the county clerks shall
report the names of all candidates in violation of the Election Code of the
state of Wyoming to the attorney general or to the district attorney, respectively,
for appropriate action.
