PUBLIC NOTICE

TOWN OF LUSK
SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
November 15, 2024, 10:00 a.m.
The Town of Lusk Council held a special meeting on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. for the second reading of Ordinances 4-5-100 – 4-5-150.
Present: Mayor Douglas Lytle, Council Members Tom Dooper, Ron Pfister, and Chantry Filener.

Others Present: Clerk/Treasurer Desirae Matthews-LeLeux, Public Works Director Todd Skrukrud, and Town Attorney Dennis Meier.
Mayor Lytle called the meeting to order at 10:01 a.m.
Desi LeLeux led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Old Business:
COUNCIL MEMBER DOOPER MOVED, SECOND BY COUNCIL MEMBER PFISTER to approve ORDINANCES 4-5-100 – 4-5-150, ORDINANCES FORMALLY ESTABLISHING THE LUSK LODGING TAX BOARD, on second reading with the include change to remove the wording in section 100 that members must be qualified electors of the Town of Lusk. There were recommended changes that included adding that any by-law changes be approved by the council and adding that an annual audit be performed due to the Town’s auditors recommending that an annual audit be performed and included with the town’s audit. MOTION CARRIED 4-0
The next special meeting will be Monday, November 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. for third and final reading of this ordinance.
