PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE OF UPDATED LAND USE PLAN DOCUMENT
NOTICE is hereby given that the revised 2024 Niobrara County Land Use Plan is available for review.
The Niobrara County Planning Commission has considered all written and verbal public comments provided by the residents of Niobrara County and revised the draft 2024 Land Use Plan accordingly. At their meeting on December 10, 2024, they voted to accept the draft Plan and forward the document to the Niobrara County Commissioners for their public hearing and approval.
A public hearing by the Niobrara County Commissioners will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at the Niobrara County Fairgrounds Shooting Sports Building for the purpose of hearing public comment on the 2024 Niobrara County Land Use Plan.
The plan has had many revisions since the last public review, and to allow for ample opportunity for review and comment prior to the Commissioners Public Hearing, the updated document is now available for public comment. Written comments may be submitted to ncplanningandzoning@gmail.com or placed in the drop box at the Niobrara County Clerk’s Office through February 4, 2025.

Copies of the proposed 2024 Niobrara County Land Use Plan may be reviewed at the following locations:
Niobrara County Courthouse
Niobrara County Library
Lusk Herald (between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Monday-Friday)
Niobrara County Conservation District Office

The draft 2024 Niobrara County Land Use Plan may be downloaded from the Niobrara County Website at niobraracounty.org.
