PUBLIC NOTICE

The Wyoming Public Service Commission (Commission) hereby gives notice of the Application of Niobrara Electric Association (NEA or the Cooperative) for authority to update its labor costs, reconnect fees collection visit fee, and additional meter test fee.
1. NEA is a non-profit cooperative electric utility subject to the Commission’s jurisdiction. Wyo. Stat. §§ 37-1-101(a)(vi)(C) and 37-2-112.

2. On February 13, 2025, NEA submitted its Application seeking Commission approval of updates to its Reconnect Fee, Afterhours Disconnect/Reconnect Fee, Collections Visit Fee, and second meter test in 12 months fee. It also included removing the term monthly from its Anchors Outside of Line ROW, and a change to the wording on its hours. NEA states that the labor cost updates are to match its previously approved terms elsewhere in its tariff. With its Application, NEA also included a request to update its Avoided Cost rate to match Tri-State’s avoided cost rate.

4. Anyone desiring to file a statement, intervention petition, protest, or request for hearing must file with the Commission in writing, on or before March 19, 2025. A proposed intervention or request for hearing shall set forth the grounds, as well as the position and interest of the petitioner in this proceeding.
