PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
The Town of Manville, Manville, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 6:00 pm, on July 18, 2025, at Town of Manville School/Town Hall, 250 7th Ave, Manville, Wyoming. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the Sewer Infrastructure Replacement project.
The project includes replacing the entirety of the Town of Manville's sewer distribution system because the existing system was constructed between 1913 and 1920 and doesn't meet the minimum depths and slopes required by Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (WYDEQ). The updates include sewer main lines, services, manholes, wastewater cleanouts, and a new lift station.
At the meeting, the Town of Manville will present the preliminary design of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of improvements and the plan for funding the improvements.

The total cost of the construction and design will be around $7.8 million. We will be applying for a Mineral Royality Grant, USDA- Rural Development grant/loan and State Lands & Investments (SRF) grant/loan to fund this project. Current user fees and designated funds from the 1% specific purpose excise tax imposed within Niobrara County will be used to pay back the loan. Said loan terms will be between 0% and 2.5% interest rate for 30 years.
