The Niobrara County High School wrestling team spent a busy weekend on the road, competing in Crawford followed by the Southeast Duals in Yoder.

CRAWFORD, NE – Niobrara County High School went across the state line for a triangular with the host Rams and Hay Springs last Tuesday evening. Kort Bannan was unopposed twice, giving the Tigers their only points of the evening. Kaydn McCully was pinned by the Hawks’ Mason Albrecht, in the 18-6 dual loss. He was also pinned by the Rams Paden Morava as NCHS fell by the 42-6 score.
Saturday’s results from the Southeast Duals were unavailable. Tuesday’s SEWAC Duals at Tiger Gym results will be in next week’s issue.
Neither of the Lady Tigers had matches last week.
This week is the final tuneup before next weekend’s 2A East Regional tournaments. NCHS will be at the Carbon County Invitational in Saratoga Friday and Saturday.
