LUSK_ Lusk DOES Drove #64 will be hosting their ninth annual Christmas Tree Contest and Auction on Dec. 2nd, 2017. The contest will be held at the Elk’s Lodge with judging at 4:00 P.M., doors will be open to the public at 5:00 P.M., and the auction will begin at 6:00 P.M. There will be a People’s Choice award, as well as monetary placings of first and second, along with recognition of your business or organization. At the end of the judging, the entries will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Proceeds will be split between our local school lunch program, and a new military charity, Infinite Heroes. Rules for the contest:
Artificial trees only. Wreaths and centerpieces may be real or artificial. Stockings will also be accepted as entries. Your entry can be any size you choose. Your entry must have a theme. All entries must be decorated and ready for judging by no later than 3:00 pm on Dec 2nd. The Elk’s Lodge will be available for you to decorate on Dec. 1st and 2nd. The buyer will be responsible for removal of items purchased. If you have any questions please call Sheila at 334-2559, or Amanda at (308) 641-0799.
