Veterans assistance in Natrona, Converse and Niobrara counties

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Wyoming veterans service officers from the Wyoming Veterans  
Commission will conduct community outreach services in Wyoming cities in August.  
Ivette Orozco and Dave McDonell are available to meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veterans’ benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs claims, or VA healthcare. They can also help veterans and their families apply for benefits, file claims or
request healthcare.  

Their office is staffed in Casper at the National Guard Armory, 5905 CY Ave., and they are also available at the following locations:  
• Casper: August 15, 22 and 29 at the Vet Center, 1030 N. Poplar St., Suite B, from 9 a.m. – noon; Aug. 1, 8, 15 and 22, at the Casper Outpatient VA Clinic, 4140 S. Poplar St., from 9
a.m. – noon.  
• Douglas: Aug. 10 and 31, at the Workforce Center, 311 N. Russell Ave., from 9 a.m. – noon.  
• Lusk: Aug. 17 at the Lusk Town Clerk’s Office, 201 E. 3rd Street, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
