ORDINANCE NO. 8-5-110

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 8-5-110 TO INCLUDE RIGHT OF ENTRY BY LAW ENFORCEMENT TO INSPECT FOR COMPLIANCE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE TOWN OF LUSK, WYOMING:

SECTION ONE: A subparagraph (c) shall be added to Ordinance 8-5-110 providing for the right of law enforcement of the Town of Lusk to enter into any premises which hold a liquor license issued by the Town of Lusk.

(C) In addition to any other rights of inspection the Town may have under Federal, State and local laws, law enforcement personnel of the Town of Lusk shall have the right to enter into licensed premises during regular open business hours for purposes of ascertaining compliance with all applicable laws and ordinances pertaining to the sale, storing, serving and keeping malt or alcoholic beverages under the license issued by the Town. A refusal to permit entry or inspection contrary to this section be declared in violation of law and may result in penalties provided in Ordinance 2-35 of the Lusk City Ordinances and suspension of the license.

The Third and Final reading of this Ordinance will be at the May 8, 2024, Council Meeting.
