GLENROCK  Four middle school girls and two middle school boys headed to Glenrock for the Glenrock Invite cross-country meet on Friday, September 27.

The course was not the typical course as it was mainly flat and on asphalt.

The Lady Tigers placed two runners in the top 10 in a race that had 84 runners.

Maci Lyons won the two-mile race in a time of 11 minutes, 53 seconds, while teammate Hazel Gaukel placed 10th in a time of 12:42.

The Tigers’ third runner was Aalyiah Pavone who ran 14:41 to place 38th. Avery Johnson also ran very well to place 56th in a time of 15:49.

In the boys’ race, Cooper Skeen led the way for the boys to place 59th out of 91 runners in a time of 14:40, which would be a personal best time in a 3K race.

Paul Kruse ran 15:15 to place 67th overall.

The Tigers run at Wright on Saturday.
